This is a public service announcement to say that the AMS Elections are going on, and that one can vote either online or by post; the website gives comprehensive instructions as to how to do this.

We ran a story about these in 2004; as then, we encourage you to make your voice heard by voting, after carefully considering the candidate biographies.

Purely in a private capacity, I would note that Chawne Kimber, a former Young Mathematicians' Network board member, is running for a seat on the AMS Nominating Committee.
