A few years ago we at YMN discussed hosting a "Rumor Mill" where candidates could exchange information on their job searches. Back when I was on the job market, a few of us did this and it was immensely helpful to know which schools had already set up interviews, who had made campus interview invitations, and what offers were looking like. In the end, we decided that this wasn't the sort of thing we wanted host.

Got a rejection email from SMC of Ca. How many rejection letters did you get? Did you get them by email or snail mail?
