Mills College, a women's liberal arts college in Oakland, California, is seeking temporary mathematics faculty for the 2007-2008 school year. We will need 1-3 courses covered per semester. Per-course pay is competitive, and benefits are available for faculty working more than 50% time. Possible courses are:
  • Pre-calculus and Calculus I sequence
  • Calculus I/II sequence
  • Real analysis sequence
  • Differential equations
  • Linear algebra
  • Special topics
Teaching experience and at least a Master's degree are required. If you are interested, send email to me, the Department Chair, at spertus /at/ mills.edu. I am also happy to answer general questions about the position below.
