Here are the notes from the 2007 YMN Board Meeting in New Orleans, held on the floor of a lounge.

* JMM Panels have gone well
o Job search panel slightly lower attendance than normal
o Try for three panels aimed at difference audiences
* Jackie - stays with "paperwork" job
* Kim - stays with treasurer
o Current balance: $148.89
* Domain name status - youngmath.net registered for next couple of years
o Youngmath.org - good for ten years, given to us by AMS
o Advertise both domain names - both point to the same place
* Jobs for next year
o Duties at JMM (Dave will be in China on sabbatical)
Be at every session, pass around e-mail pad
Writing up notes from panels, submit story
Plan and run Town Hall Meeting
Talk up YMN
Run Board meeting
Count for attendance
o Running Town Hall Meeting: Josh and Sarah Ann
o Running Board meeting: Kevin
* Direction as an organization
o Attempting to partner with Project NExT to increase traffic on website
Give accounts on YMN to all Project NExT Fellows
o Continue to fill a need that might not otherwise be filled with information on website and panels - even if the site doesn't always have new stores (old information is helpful also)
o Continue to work on shameless self-promotion
o Filling in FAQ on website (links to articles within FAQ)
Making it easier to find information that's already on the site
o Link old files to current website
o Clean up website
