AAUP resources for balancing work and family Work and Family Life

While browsing the web, I came across a few older articles from the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) that seemed worth sharing.

The first, from 2002, describes a then-new guidebook about the Family and Medical Leave Act as applied to the Academic Community. While the booklet is not free, there is a sample of ten real-life Questions and Answers here.

The second item of interest is an entire online issue of Academe (the bi-monthly publication of the AAUP) from October-November 2004 devoted to Balancing Faculty Careers and Family Work. The articles all appear to be viewable to the public.
