It would be nice if it could be set up so that when someone replied to a comment that I made, I could be notified by email.

This was implemented on one discussion board I used to use, and it meant that I knew if people cared enough to reply, and often I was prodded into replying to their reply.

I don't know if the Scoop engine can be easily modified into doing this, though.
