[new] Formating (5.00 / 1) (#1)
by jvano on Mon Aug 19, 2002 at 11:36:21 AM PDT

It took me a while to get this joke since there wasn't a break after "formula". That is, I read the answer as "formula Birk" rather than "formula" with Birk :-) as the signature. In case anyone is intrested, you can use basic HTML formating markers. For example, you could format this using a list such as:
  • Q) what to you feed a (really) young mathematician?
  • A) formula
By the way, thanks for the joke!

[new] (No real subject, just practicing) (5.00 / 1) (#2)
by halewis on Fri Aug 23, 2002 at 05:11:26 AM PDT

I'm practicing posting comments. :) And I chose this one, because it took me about eight hours to figure out that it was a pun on the word formula. :) I thought it was just a comment about babies drinking formula instead of nursing, which didn't really make sense, and just as I was thinking about commenting on *that* I realized it was a pun. Hence the word joke. Guess I'm a little slow sometimes. Heather
