Also, Clive Granger won the Nobel prize in Economics in 2003. He won it "for methods of analyzing economic time series with common trends (cointegration)"... So he's more of a statistician...he's a very good speaker as well, very accesible. That's the great thing about maths, it's applicable. Vincenze.
