but they rely on assumptions like the "randomness" that your argument assumes.

Also, it is not inconceivable, even under an assumption that the primes are distributed in some reasonable way, that there might be occasional even integers that aren't the sum of two primes - most of these arguments only show that the overwhelming majority of even integers are the sum of two primes.

But your argument is ingenious and interesting :)
