[new] PDE text (none / 0) (#2)
by Anonymous Hero on Thu Nov 11, 2004 at 06:16:05 AM PDT

We have considered "Partial Differential Equations: Analytical and Numerical Methods" by Mark S. Gockenbach (a SIAM text) for our advanced engineering math class, which is a PDE course primarily for engineering majors. It is well suited for students that have had some ODE's and linear algebra, but does not assume a background in analysis.
